Parking and Tolls

If your route requires the driver to incur expenses related to tolls, parking, and gate entry fees, then you must reimburse your driver for such expenses.

Please note the following general guidelines:

For BP Customers:

  • You may reimburse drivers for tolls, parking, and gate entry fees from within the app. Just activate/enable reimbursements by simply proceeding to the “More Options” section on page 2 of the booking creation process.
  • For toll fees, your driver may only request reimbursement of tolls associated with the route required for your booking. Your driver may not request toll reimbursement associated with going to your first location or pickup location.
  • Parking fees at the locations listed in your booking will be recognized as legitimate. You can dispute any parking fees that are not associated with your booking.
  • Some industrial areas or residential subdivisions charge a fee for deliveries, especially those made by delivery vans or trucks. It is advisable to be aware of these fees before making your booking.
  • Drivers upload receipts according to your arrangement with Transportify.
  • You may review and dispute any inaccurate or inappropriate charges from within the app within 24 hours of the booking completion.
  • Approved reimbursements are added and itemized in your monthly invoice.

For Cash Paying Customers:

  • To be sure of the exact expenses incurred by your driver, you may request him/her to provide you with receipts. However, this may not always be possible for tolls when drivers are using the RFID (ie. Autosweep/EasyTrip), which is paperless and cashless.
  • For toll fees, your driver may only request reimbursement of tolls associated with the route required for your booking. Your driver may not request toll reimbursement associated with going to your first location or pickup location.
  • If you would like your driver to avoid toll expenses by avoiding toll roads, you may request your driver to take an alternative reasonable route. However, if there is no alternate reasonable route, then the route is considered to require tolls, and you must reimburse your driver for such toll expenses.
  • Some industrial areas or residential subdivisions charge a fee for deliveries, especially those made by delivery vans or trucks. It is advisable to be aware of these fees before making your booking.

Is the toll fee included in the Transportify standard fare?

💰No, the toll fee is not included in the Transportify standard fare. It only covers the cost of the driver’s time, fuel, and vehicle. Toll fees and parking expenses are additional costs, and if your trip requires tolls or parking, the driver may request reimbursement for these costs from you. You can approve or deny the driver’s request for reimbursement.
